At the Clearance Fabric Shop, we just love Fabric!
We decided to open our store to give fabric lovers everywhere the possibility to buy quality fabrics that wouldn’t normally be available to the public. By stocking roll end, dead stock, and clearance fabrics we can provide quality fabrics at heavily discounted prices.
Our story begins 40 years ago when my Husband opened a curtain shop in Blackpool. He soon moved on to specialise in Contract Furnishing, providing soft furnishings for Pubs, Clubs, Hotels and Restaurants throughout the UK. I was a dressmaker, specialising in Wedding Dresses and Ballgowns.
After 20 successful years of furnishing, we decided to emigrate to Turkey and our sons continued the family business, taking the contract furnishing business to new heady heights.
Our love of fabrics did not di
minish in Turkey, we opened a business renovating older properties and spreading a little love with our passion for fabric, texture, and colour However, the pull of the UK brought us back after 18 years and now we have decided to make high-quality fabrics available to all budgets. With the knowledge that we have gained over 40 years of experience, we want to pass on the savings that we can get on to others. Plus, we get to handle some beautiful fabrics!!!!
